The Road to Quality

The Road To Quality. It is what every family looking for a Builder wants to find. The Road is the idea embodied in this logo.

The challenge with any logo is to maintain clean simplicity while giving pertinent information and eliciting an emotional response from the person viewing it. This logo has a warm feel and meets this challenge quite well.

The graphic representation of the road on the left balances the lettering on the right. As well, the logo's colors may be used in a variety of ways without losing its impact. The graphic might be used alone as a design element in brochures or a website. The white and blue color scheme could be reversed in some cases extending marketing possibilities.

Overall, the logo is balanced, clean and powerful in its simplicity. The logo conveys professionalism while evoking a level of confidence from its viewer.

Lead Base Coatings were banned from residential use in 1978.

In 2008 the US EPA announced new rules for contractors who renovate or repair housing, child care facilities or schools built before 1978. Under the new rules contractors and workers must have documented training and practice lead-safe work practices to reduce potential lead exposures during renovation and repair activities. The requirements apply to anyone such as painters, plumbers, electricians and contractors who could potentially expose children to lead dust during their work.

In January Chad D.Collins of Collins Design-Build, Inc. become only the sixth firm to become Certified in the state of North Carolina to become a Certified Renovation Firm to conduct lead safe practices in in housing, child care facilities or schools built prior to 1978.
