Raleigh, N.C.—Chad D. Collins of Collins Design-Build, Inc. of Durham, N.C. has completed the 112 hours of course work necessary to meet the requirements for the Accredited Master Builder (AMB) designation. And becomes one of only 47 in the State of North Carolina to carry this high level designation.
The North Carolina Builder Institute, the educational arm of the North Carolina Home Builders Association, administers their continuing education program. An Accredited Master Builder designation is the highest level designation that is recognized statewide and identifies top professionals in the building industry.
Accredited Master Builder graduates complete an intensive series of 112 hours of course work, during which they learn about the newest trends and advanced technology in the building industry. Participants also have the opportunity to collaborate with fellow builders on solutions to many everyday problems encountered in the industry. To keep their designation current, graduates must complete an additional eight hours each year.
The North Carolina Home Builders Association is a state trade association representing 65 local associations and more than 16,000 member firms involved in the residential construction industry. A not-for-profit organization, the NCHBA provides its members with networking and educational opportunities and represents them in matters of government relations and advocacy.
